Brilliant Boreholes

The FSF has dug four boreholes in communities that were experiencing chronic water shortages that meant people were forced to drink unclean water from uncovered wells, consequently, individuals suffered with both eyes and stomach infections. The FSF water projects now supplies crystal clear and clean water to these communities. This is done through the installation of borehole that is powered by solar panels and the water is lifted and filtered by a submersible pump from 32 meters in the ground to 4000litre water tanks, the water is then distributed to various stand pipes within the villages. Currently, over 3000 people and their animals are benefiting from this project.
