Wendy and Mike held a coffee morning to help raise funds for FSF’s Mosquito Net appeal in their village pub, The Helyar Arms, in East Coker. Wendy baked various cakes and enlisted the help of friends who turned up with more cake, paid for coffee and raffle tickets. Mike explains “We put FSF posters around the village and in the pub-unfortunately we managed to hold it on the hottest day of the year so the attendance was down but East Coker did us proud… we managed to get the total up to £250”
