Laura Sparkes, one of FSF’s greatest Fund raisers ran the great north run to raise a month’s worth of school meals and did so with great success so thank you laura! And here is her reasons why: “Fresh Start Foundation is a charity engraved in my heart after seeing their work in the Gambia therefore I chose them for my 10k challenge, it was a fantastic day that made me very proud to be Scottish with the people coming out and cheering us in the street, giving us encouragement, water and sweets in what turned out to be a hot day. I managed to raise my target for the School Meal Appeal, and I’m very happy with the thought that through my run and achey legs the children will have full bellies!”
